Starting out in the snow

So today is my first day of blogging and this is the first week of Apricot Designs. A fabulous graphic designer is working away on the logo as we speak and finalised ideas should be ready by the end of the week. Orders are starting to come in thick and fast and word of mouth is working its magic. I have a couple of orders from the school gates and the other mums have some great ideas for marketing, they all seem excited by this new business idea.

Of course I have been knitting like mad, and getting the designs exactly right, which involves a lot of stopping and starting again, but I'm getting there. I now have a baby beanie design, a 'tea cosy' design, and a night cap style design and have worked out sizes for up to a year. I am getting asked for toddlers' hats so that will have to be next!

I am quickly realising that the hardest bit is the amount of knitting I have to do, I'm working way into the night at the moment, clickety clack!
